What are Splinterlands?
Splinterlands is a decentralised, blockchain-based collectible card game. The concept is similar to games such as Magic the Gathering and Hearthstone, where you collect a collection of cards (each with different stats and abilities) and use them to battle other players.
Using blockchain technology, players can own their digital cards and trade them freely as if they were physical cards, without the control of any centralised company or organisation.
By using blockchain technology, you now have a better offer, players can now truly own their digital assets. And even the company that created and sold the cards to players cannot control or limit what is done with them.

Why buy a starter pack?
Since Splinterlands cards are limited in quantity and have value, they cannot just be given away for free to everyone who registers so the economy is very stable and suitable for investors as these costs are recouped after just two to three weeks using our offer.
That’s why you have to buy at least a starter pack of cards for $10 to play. In traditional games, on the other hand, when you spend money, you don’t get anything of value. When you buy Splinterlands cards, you get a valuable asset that you can resell at any time.
How does it work?
Each time you win a battle in Ranked Mode, your ranking points increase in proportion to your opponent’s ranking. When your ranking goes up, you’ll enter the Higher Leagues, which makes you eligible to play higher level cards and earn more rewards. Also, if you win three or more ranked games in a row, you will get a x2 points bonus for taking part in a winning streak.
You can get rewards for completing daily quests and for reaching a higher league each season. The rewards are one or more randomly selected cards from the Reward series. These cards may only be obtained through in-game awards or by purchasing them on the market from other players, who have also obtained them through in-game awards.
Another way to earn rewards is to participate in tournaments, where players can compete to win a share of the total prize pool.
Splinterlands – sponsors several tournaments every day, with prize money totalling thousands of dollars each week.
What cryptocurrency is in this blockchain?
Dark Energy Crystals (DEC) are the official game currency of #Splinterlands. You can earn them in various ways in the game, and they can be used to buy all sorts of items and bonuses, as well as sold without commissions on decentralized exchanges by converting them into the cryptocurrencies Steem and Tron.
