În această noapte au avut loc premiile VGA 2008. Deși nu am văzut showul live, am citit cam tot ce s-a întâmplat în cadrul acestuia și voi încerca să prezint toate lucrurile importante anunțate la acesta. Au prezentate jocuri în premieră mondială ca: Mafia 2, God of War 3, Dante’s Inferno, Uncharted 2, Watchmen The Game, Brutal Legend și primul DLC pentru GTA IV – Lost and Damned. De asemenea cele mai bune jocuri ale anului au fost premiate, dar pentru lista completă, cât și pentru trailerele prezentate ”Citiți în continuare”.

Best Shooter: Gears of War 2 (Epic Games)

Cu toate că mulți ar spune că Grand Theft Auto IV nu merita titlul de jocul anului, aceștia probabil l-au jucat doar pe PC, unde este un total bugfest neoptimizat. Versiunea de console este mult mai stabilă, cu mult mai puține probleme și rulează cu un framerate cel puțin decent pe tot parcursul gameplayului.
